  • Additional: Rust, gRPC, GTK4, Flutter/Dart, Java, Swift, Docker, Terraform, NoSQL.

Experience

  • Software Engineer / Owner — Denuo Web, LLC | Remote | March 2024–Present.
  • Build and maintain a 12-project software portfolio from requirements and architecture through implementation, automated deployment, documentation, and maintenance; approximately nine projects published, deployed, or publicly released.
  • Co-created and operate QuestByCycle across four production community cycling programs, supporting 248 registered accounts, 64 active participants, and 993 submissions across 342 quests.
  • Proposed and coordinated two linked CrowdPM capstones involving seven Oregon State University engineering students; led the four-person TypeScript/Firebase platform team and advised the three-person ECE sensor team.
  • Released HNS DANE Browser on Google Play, maintain APK Workbench with 19 GitHub stars, and published approximately a dozen portfolio guides.
  • Lab Assistant (Software Engineering) — Lane Community College | September–December 2023. Delivered two Flask internal applications in one term: self-service password reset and lab-attendance management.
  • Designed an approximately 30-second password-reset flow with automated token delivery, configurable expiration, UNIX-socket access controls, structured logging, and tested server/frontend components.
  • Converted staff workflow requirements into documented, configurable tools with repeatable deployment procedures and operator handoff materials.
  • Software Engineer (Paid Bounties) — HTMLCOIN Foundation | Remote | May 2018–May 2022. Completed three paid bounties plus maintenance across wallet, explorer, API, and Linux infrastructure repositories.
  • Ported Qtum wallet and explorer software for HTMLCOIN, preserved chain-specific behavior, updated deprecated RPC/API integrations, and documented public-service deployments.
  • Served as one of two regular technical contributors during a three-year collaboration, receiving repeat assignments and maintaining software and Linux infrastructure used by the community.

Selected projects

  • HNS DANE Browser — Rust, Kotlin, Swift, Android, iOS, DNSSEC, DANE: shared Rust core, local header/proof validation, authoritative DNS/DoH, certificate verification, and fail-closed proxy/TLS routing.
  • APK Workbench — Rust, gRPC, GTK4, Linux ARM64: multi-service Android workflow platform with thin GTK/CLI clients, streamed job state, orchestration, Debian packaging, and release documentation.
  • Moonshine Art — Flutter, Firebase, Cloud Run, Stripe Connect: private marketplace covering seller onboarding, checkout/webhooks, print fulfillment, moderation, compliance, audit logs, and support handoff.
